Adv. Venuste Uwizeyimana is a dedicated legal practitioner with over a decade of experience in public service and private practice. He joined Amilex Chambers in January 2022 as a Senior Associate, following his tenure as Partner at DB Advocates, where he led and advised on a range of civil, corporate and commercial matters.

He holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice (DLP), and has completed advanced legal training at the Centre International de Formation des Avocats Francophones in Benin. His academic and professional development reflects a strong commitment to continuous learning and cross-jurisdictional legal competence.

Prior to joining the Bar, Adv. Uwizeyimana served for eight years in Gasabo District Government, where he gained extensive experience in administrative law, governance, and public sector legal frameworks.

He is an active member of the Rwanda Bar Association (RBA) and the East Africa Law Society (EALS). Fluent in French, English, and Kinyarwanda, his multilingual capacity enhances his ability to serve diverse clients and engage in regional legal discourse.
